Former Eagles offensive coordinator Kellen Moore was officially named the New Orleans Saints head coach last week and hasn’t wasted time interviewing candidates for his coaching staff.
Moore has reportedly interviewed multiple candidates from the Eagles (Doug Nussmeier, Jemal Singleton, and Christian Parker) for the Saints’ offensive and defensive coordinators. However, Moore has yet to decide on those positions.
That said, Eagles head coach Nick Sirianni will see one of his coaches leave Philadelphia to join Moore in the Big Easy.
According to Saints beat writer Nick Underhill, Eagles run game specialist/assistant offensive line coach T.J. Paganetti will join Moore’s coaching staff.
Big add for Kellen Moore’s staff. The Saints are hiring TJ Paganetti from the Eagles, according to a source. Paganetti served as a run game specialist and assistant offensive line coach for Philadelphia last season.

Paganetti has been with the Eagles for several years dating back to 2013, which was the Chip Kelly era in Philadelphia. Paganetti has served in various roles under multiple head coaches, starting as an analyst in 2013-14.
After that, Paganetti was a grad assistant and linebackers coach at the University of Oregon in 2015-16. He would return to Philadelphia in 2017 under the title of offensive quality control and assistant offensive line coach.
Paganetti added to his extensive resume in 2019-2020, serving as the Eagles’ assistant running back coach during the Doug Pederson era. Then when Sirianni became the Eagles’ head coach in 2021, Paganetti was the offensive quality control coach until 2022.
Finally, over the last two years, Paganetti has been the Eagles’ run game specialist, while also working as an assistant tight ends coach/assistant offensive line coach.
That said, the Eagles are losing a key staff member heading into next season, who has a wealth of experience and worked with different position groups. They must find a new assistant to work with Jeff Stoutland.
With Paganetti on his way to New Orleans, it will be interesting to see who else from the Eagles will join him.
