The New York Jets will need a new starting quarterback in 2025 after making it official they will move on from Aaron Rodgers this offseason. While Rodgers tries to find a new NFL home to keep playing and avoid retirement at age 41, the Jets have a clean slate to pursue a new QB of choice under new GM Darren Mougey and head coach Aaron Glenn,
The Jets took Glenn from the Lions and also hired offensive coordinator Tanner Engstrand from Detroit. That provides some hint to predict which veteran or rookie QB they will target most as a best replacement option for Rodgers, short or long term.
