Now, they’re looking for their next offensive coordinator, and they completed an interview with a second candidate on Thursday, as they met with Los Angeles Chargers passing game coordinator Marcus Brady, according to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport.
Brady, 45, played quarterback in the CFL for seven years before coaching in the league for another nine years. He began coaching in the NFL in 2018 with the Indianapolis Colts, eventually working his way up to offensive coordinator.
He spent two seasons with the Philadelphia Eagles before joining the Chargers this past season.
Now that New England has interviewed Brady and Thomas Brown, they’ve satisfied the requirements for the league’s Rooney Rule and are free to hire whoever they want to be their coordinator.
