Now that the New England Patriots 2024 season has come to a close, the team will turn their attention to 2025, and while there are a lot of decisions to be made, the first of the roster moves has come.
On Monday, New England signed seven players from their practice squad to reserve/futures contracts, including safety Mark Perry, defensive lineman Marcus Harris, cornerback D.J. James, wide receiver John Jiles, offensive tackle Caleb Jones, kicker John Parker Romo and linebacker Andrew Parker Jr.
Reserve/futures contracts allow teams to keep practice players squad players around for the offseason when they’d normally become free agents.
The following practice squad players who finished the year in New England are now set to hit the market:
- WR Alex Erickson
- RB Kevin Harris
- DE Jotham Russell
- WR Braylon Sanders
- TE Mitchell Wilcox
