Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, will be sending her three children back to school after the summer holidays – but according to one Royal expert, she will be feeling “conflicted” about the change
The summer holidays have officially concluded, with children nationwide, including Royal youngsters Prince George, Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis, returning to school. The family, along with parents Prince William and Kate Middleton, have been unwinding at their Norfolk residence, Anmer Hall, as well as Balmoral over the past few weeks.
However, as this period draws to a close, the Duchess of Cambridge may be feeling “conflicted” about the new term plans for her three children amidst her cancer treatment, suggests former BBC Royal correspondent Jennie Bond. Speaking to OK! she said: “I think that, like most mums, Catherine will have conflicting emotions about the end of the school holidays,”.
She added: “Entertaining three children day after day – especially when there must still be days when she is feeling the effects of her cancer treatment – can’t always have been easy in these past few weeks. But she and William have looked wonderfully relaxed in the few images we have seen. I’m sure they’ve had a lot of fun and family time in Norfolk and Balmoral.”
Jennie notes that as George, 11, Charlotte, 9, and Louis, 6, settle back into their routines, it provides Kate, 42, with much-needed respite. “Now it’s back to the early morning discipline of school uniforms, bags packed, homework done and the school run. It will give Catherine the chance to rest quietly when she needs it without feeling guilty that she’s not with the children, and it will also give her the opportunity to continue the work that she has been doing behind-the-scenes on the campaign and projects that mean so much to her,” she says
