KC clinched a postseason berth riding an 86-76 record and advanced to the American League Division Series. Kauffman Stadium also hosted a postseason game for the first time since the 2015 campaign. Now, the Royals will look to get better.
The club may look to add more offensive firepower to its starting lineup. Royals general manager J.J. Picollo could also explore adding another veteran reliever to a resurgent bullpen.
