Kevin Jarvis is back on the free agent market. Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News reports that the Buffalo Bills are cutting the former Michigan State standout ahead of Tuesday’s 4 p.m. deadline, where all teams must finalize their 53-man roster.
The 25-year-old offensive lineman signed with the Detroit Lions as an undrafted free agent in 2022 after a solid collegiate career while playing in East Lansing. Ahead of his rookie season, the Lions waived him with an injury settlement.
In April 2023, Jarvis signed a one-year deal with the Bills. He signed another deal with the franchise in March, being one of 13 players inked to a “Reserve/Futures” contract.
The 6-foot-6, 325-pound lineman hasn’t made much of an impact in the NFL but was one of the Big Ten’s best offensive linemen while playing for the Spartans.
Jarvis started in 39 of 44 available games over the course of his five-year collegiate career. Playing right tackle and right guard in 2021, he earned honorable mention All-Big Ten honors.
