English Super League clubs the Castleford Tigers and London Broncos have both expressed interest in signing Victor Radley, should he and the Roosters decide to part ways. NRL legend Darren Lockyer is a major stakeholder at the London Broncos and confirmed Radley would be a player of interest if he chose to rebuild his career overseas.

“We are in a position where we want to grab half a dozen guys with NRL experience and add them to the current squad,” Lockyer told News Corp. “If Victor becomes available, we would need to have an internal discussion about it.”

Castleford Tigers coach Chris Chester has also made his position clear on chasing Radley. “There’s no doubting he’s a quality player,” Chester said. “If a player of his quality wanted to come to Super League, then certainly, we’d like to be in the conversation there. But it would have to be under the right circumstances. There’s a lot going on and I have to stress under the right circumstances, he’s very attractive.”

Radley’s hopes of playing for England in the upcoming Ashes series are still alive despite his NRL ban. And England coach Shaun Wane told AAP about Radley: “If he’s fit and healthy, I’m going to pick him.”
